Messenger

Send a text from any phone and hear it read aloud. Reply by speaking, and your reply comes back as a text.

Messenger connects text messages from phones to an Amazon Echo or Dot, so someone you care about can listen to your message and answer it without typing.

How Messenger works

  1. You send a text

Send it from any wireless phone, or from a web browser on your PC or tablet.

  2. They hear it

Messenger reads the message aloud on their Amazon Echo or Dot.

  3. They answer by voice

They reply by speaking, and you get their answer as a text message on your phone.
